PLEASE DON'T BE MY VALENTINE

Please Don't Be My Valentine is a solo exhibition presented in February 2020 at Backdock Arts in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Inspired by the history of Valentines day and modern attitudes towards love and intimacy this body of work explores love and relationships as if from the outside looking in. To gain this perspective I took insight from polls and questions posed to my followers, most prominently: Have you ever been in love? Was is everything you wanted? would you do it again?
