Bowerytopia is a durational work building on Rustichelli's practice of altering the body as a tool for creating work. The work was commissioned by Shandy Party and the Stitchery Collective as a tribute to the artist Leigh Bowery, the performance responding to Bowery's practice of altering his form to become a tool for art and an artwork in itself, the art and the artist as one symbiotic form.
